Kale (approx 1-2cups chopped)
Swiss chard (approx 4 cups chopped)
1 clove of garlic
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1-2 tablespoons lightly toasted pine nuts
Wash kale and swiss chard
Rough chop kale and swiss chard, keep in separate piles
Put a pot of water on to boil add a generous tablespoon of salt. When the water boils add the kale, 2 minutes later add the swiss chard stems and then 2 minutes later add the swiss chard greens. Boil until cooked, approximately 5-7 minutes.
In a frying pan add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, a chopped clove of garlic, warm slightly, and then add drained greens. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, add salt to taste. Turn off heat and top with 1 tablespoon olive oil and lightly roasted pine nuts.
