We are happy to be able to share with you healthy eggs laid by our happy chickens.
Our chickens are free to roam in the fields, streams, and grass, eating plants, worms, and insects
that they forage. We supplement their diet with organic fermented grains and organic chicken
feed. The chickens nestle in at night in a mobile chicken tractor. The chicken tractor can be
moved to different pastures or areas of the gardens that need to be cleaned out by the
chickens!! We have 5 roosters who hang out with the ladies and help protect them from any
unwanted predators.
Chickens who are free to graze on the pasture and fields lay eggs that are healthier and
naturally higher in omega-3-oils, Vitamin E, and protein.
The fermented mash provides the chickens with a higher protein diet and healthy bacteria that
helps protect them from disease and pathogens. A healthier diet for the chickens means the
eggs they produce are more nutritious for you!
